Nodaway County health officials confirm 34 more cases of COVID-19


MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway County Health Department confirmed 34 more COVID-19 cases in the county.

The Health Department says this now brings the total number of confirmed cases in the county up to 917, with 27 probable cases.

Of those 917, health officials say 131 are active. Northwest Missouri State University says 19 of those cases involve Northwest students or employees.

So far during the pandemic, 41 people have been hospitalized, and four are currently hospitalized. Officials continue to strongly urge the public to social distance and practice good hygiene.
